Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis

Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis (1935)

Edgar Rice Burrough's "Tarzan" has captured the imagination of young children since his first appearance in 1912. The son of British minor royalty, he rejects the European world after being raised by the Great Apes of the Mangani after the death of his parents while he was an infant, instead preferring to "return to nature."

"Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis" was published by the Schutter-Johnson Candy Corporation in the United States and the Canadian Chewing Gum Company, Inc. in 1935. The story follows Tarzan as he returns to his homeland in pursuit of the legendary ninth mine. The adventure is fraught with danger as Tarzan discovers strange things afoot!
